The crew of space shuttle Discovery awoke at 8:21 p.m. EDT to “I Will Rise" by Chris Tomlin, played for Pilot James P. Dutton Jr.
Today is docking day as space shuttle Discovery closes the gap to the International Space Station. A series of rocket firings will take place prior to docking. The R-Bar Pitch Maneuver, also known as the Rendezvous Pitch Maneuver, takes place about 2:42 a.m. and the final link up is targeted for 3:44 a.m.
